Healthy Skincare Routine

For today’s post I wanted to share with y’all some skin care tips that I’ve finally figured out over the years, as well as some products that I love, so you can get your glow on for 2018 😉 Here’s a quick bullet point list of skin care tips:

  • drink lots of water, by lots I mean at least 8 cups  (3 swell bottles)
  • take off your makeup before you go to sleep, get wipes if you’re too lazy to wash your face before bed
  • get your butt off the couch and get movin’
  • eat veggies
  • eat foods that are low inflammtory
  • wear foundation that has SPF in it
  • exfoliate once a week

Favorite Skincare Products

  • Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Toner
    • This toner is magical.  First of all it smells wonderful and it’s gentle on sensitive skin.  And it’s under $10!

  • Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop:
    • This little bottle is heaven sent.  It’s helpful for fading acne scars, sunspots or any hyper pigmentation on the skin.  I usually apply this before applying moisturizer in the evening


  • Khiel’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleanser:
    • You can’t go wrong with any Khiel’s product, but this cleanser is one of my faves.  It’s in between a foamy cleanser and a scrub, but is super gentle so you can use it daily.  I love it because it helps with oily skin without striping away the necessary oils in your skinRare_Earth_Deep_Pore_Daily_Cleanser_3605975038033_5.0fl.oz..jpg
  • Ultra Facial Moisturizer
    • Another Khiel’s product!  This moisturizer is great because it’s more lightweight than their ultra facial cream, which is a bit too heavy for my oil prone skin Ultra_Facial_Moisturizer_3700194712068_2.5fl.oz..jpg
